couple of things im intrigued with...

why did some mk2 polos come with square head lights? and if i wanted a set where could i get some from, obviously with the grille etc. are they expensive?

sounds like a challenge, anybody see that belgian/dutch (dunno which) mk1 in baby blue where the guy kept the engine lid slightly open from the windscreen side just to let the new engine sit in place, id do that if i had to...

so what do you reckon, worth it for the work needed or not?

ok, anybody ever tried to...?

...put a 1.8 8v golf GTi lump into a mk.2 squareback?

basically ive bin given an 8v GTi engine, gearbox, driveshafts and even brakes (the whole lot) for nothing and im wondering if its worth having a crack at lobbing it into my baby polo or getting rid of it?

i know id have to source an ECU etc ...

tyre help please guys...?

im lowering my mkII squareback by 70mm on a venom springs n dmpers kit (if they ever arrive) and im planning on fitting a set of 6.5"x13" wheels (show you when theyre on)

what tyre size should i go for guys? obv i want this thing low but looking good...

mkII gearbox help please!

ive got a tiny 1.0 mkII with a four speed gearbox, was just wondering if i could throw in a 5 speed from a mk 3 polo? if so which gearbox would i need? would the same subframes/driveshafts work etc?

please help guys as i need a fifth gear!

my engine code is HZ if this helps.

sorry to hijack this post, but does this mean that -70mm (im plannin using avenom motorsport loweriung kit) springs or springs and damper will be fine over 13" alloys? ive got a g-reg mkII.

if so which would be better? springs alone or springs and dampers?

I own a Mk. 3 Polo Coupe Genesis 1.3 single point injection model.

The engine code is AAV meaning its a boggy 55bhp (I think), what i was wondering is can I take the cams out of the 3F engine (Polo GT model) and put them into mine, theyre both 1.3 engines and probably both the same block etc. so is ...
