Re: Folding back bench down
You fold up the bottom part first up ( just put your hands around it slide it towards the drivers and passenger seat direction( to clear the backrest - because it goes under it), than you can fold it up.
Proceed by folding down the backrest.

Re: MOT fail on wing mirror indicator
You don’t need to replace the whole mirror assembly, just the part with the integral led strip. Plenty on sale on eBay for around £15, e.g. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/364652413391?gad_source=1&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338723872&toolid=20006&customid=F-...

Re: Fog light wires thickness and power rating
The speed in these sections is 40-60kmph, so I was under the impression it is reasonable. Of course on regular 4+ lane highways it is not useful. Thanks for the pointers. There is a huge flood of cheap leds in the markets, and since MOT tests don’t happen here, people use them without consequence. ...

Re: Polo 6C 1.2 TSI dogbone mount
i'm staring to think that the play/ twitching is coming from clutch plate heart play How so? Then again, the 6-speed in my car does have a "loose" feel to it compared to something like the old 020 in my mk1. I have heard feedback from people with 1.4 tsi, that there is this kind of issue....
