Thanks for the reply. Will swap over and see what happens. If coils are the issue do you recommend any particular replacements bar genuine vw packs. Is it common for eng man light not to come on.

Hi, can anyone advise. My son has bought a 2005 polo 1.4 16V polo. it has an RAC telematics box fitted which throws up fault codes random misfire on cylinders 2 & 4.
