I am using Mobil 1 0w-40 and change it every 15000 kms.

G51 is very expensive oil that i only know...Castrol TAF-X 75w90 may be equivelent of that s**t...

Hi guys, according to VW, gearboxes do not need oil change. Gearbox has lifetime oil (?).

VW uses G51 gearbox oil which is very expensive.

try to check the throttle body with vag-com...some times tb gives error code and it is needed to be removed ...

It seems throttle body problem.....

1.4 8v box fits to 16v-AFH but ratios are different...

One of my friend has mk4 valver as i do....cut long story short...He had EQZ gearbox instead of CWX..because CWX had been broken in some time in past while the first owner had his car and he decided to put 1.6 8v gear box -EQZ-......Now we are using AHD -Polo GT- gearbox instead of EQZ to substitute...

it is ugly.....

1J0 711 113 C FEU , be aware that code..because it has larger hole under gear knob...over here i have found only those "C" coded Golf mk4 gear knob and gaitor....

Is that gear knob " 1J0 711 113 A ". Because 6n's gear knob has elastic rubber but mk4 thing has fixed plastic thing like a frame as below.....

everybody says 16v s intake manifold is more capable than 8v...that is the reason....and i also found 1.4 16v s head.....

i just found 16v intake manifold.....is it possible to change my 1.6 8v manifold to 16v's ?
