Re: Timing Belt Change
If that is the case and the belt had snapped, when you turn the engine, you would soon know, I would go for a new engine, sorry to say. Belts changes are 4 years or 40k miles. Yet depend on the belt fitted aftermarket would be different and if they dud the full kit.

Increase of speed when reducing throttle
Hi all.
So my question is this, when I full throttle the car then lift off the throttle just slightly the car seems to pick up faster. Is this normal, due to fuel mix and ecu and air flow?
P.s the cars a 71 Polo GTI

What I've done is keep a old tyre, thats still legial.
as most tyre places will not keep our tyres in stock and can take 2-3 days to get a tyre.
So if you get a issue yes your still need to call recovery, but you can get them to put on your old tyre until they have a replacement. Else the car could ...

Re: 18" Tyre Pressures
The default seems best. From my experience. I set mine lower at front and would ware like they was under inflated.
Also note petrol garages and other air pumps can give incorrect preasures, as there not mantained.

There is 2 types of values short for alloy wheels long for metal rims with hud caps.
A long value on a alloy will break, as ya prob clip it when parking close to a curb.

Re: How to roll a auto
There must be a way to roll the car, there is many reasons why, and supplying power to do so should not be needed. something simple on a manual.
P.s I'm guessing there be like a pin hole under the gear lever boot?
