A couple of months in with the Match 95hp: would have like the auto-wipers and the ACC, but bought off allocation. Then, a week later the 'United' spec arrived.

Car does have auto-lights which are useful. Manual air-con unobtrusive. Google maps on the smartphone plugged into the head unit works ...

I got some from Halfords for £15. They don't have VW or Polo on them, but they keep the carpets clean.

I'm a month into the new Polo Match. (95hp) Love how easy it is to find parking, think it needs another 80 HP. Waddevah. :-)

Add ons: Black Ice air freshener, (big spender - I bought the six pack.) Halford's fridge coolbox, upgraded my old Android to a Moto G8 Plus for the Android Auto.Works well ...

Picked up the new jam-jar today.

Salesman checked over the P/X and said "Do you know there's afull tank of diesel?" Yes yes. Don't rub it in, mate. Polo came withe nearly half a tank, so that was good.

A couple of suprises: 'Limestone grey metallic' is a a pretty classy colour. Has a slight hint ...

It is indeed annoying with a capital 'F', :-) I'd say the next buyer will get a nice car and a full tank of diesel , but I reckon the dealers/auction bods will drain it first.

I got some Scotchguard from Amazon when it was £6 for two cans so that will do the seats.

Dealer confirmed car comes with a spare wheel, so I hope he's right ...

Phone holders...I got a magnetic holder from Tesco which goes into the air vent supplied with a sticky metal pad which you stick to back of phone and then onto the holder. Works extremely well!!

Thanks for that, will head off to Tescos ASAP. Never mind saving £2K, its the £9.95 phoneholder that ...

Anyway, if you haven't received the car yet, I'd be getting that PCP agreement put in place to grab that £2k. Don't tell your salespwrson you plan to withdraw.

The salesperson was actually quite pushy over the PCP and suggested taking out the PCP and then withdrawing. :D

I've been dithering over swapping my old car for months but of course the Covid lockdown made that tricky so had to wait until the dealers opened again. Spent the time on Youtube, and eventually decided on either a Polo 95 or a H*und*i i20 or maybe a Toyota something.
