Re: How much were the extras?
I may be wrong but I think heated seats may have only been available as standard with the alcantara seat option or as part of the optional winter pack. The list price of the winter pack was around £350 - £375. The list price of Serron alloys was £140 towards the end of 2015 (I had them on my 6c ...

Re: Has anyone retrofitted electric folding wingmirrors?
I was kind of hoping to find a company to do it, I have a feeling I'd end up ruining the car.

Re: Polo newbie - please help
Thanks for this. Luckily, I've already bought a cover as the car is close to a tree and there's lots of sea gulls around, don't want to constantly cleaning bird s**t off the car. I'll check it later and see if there is any damage and hopefully can claim under warranty if it's worn.

I assume this is when the sunroof is open? It's pretty flush when closed.Dink wrote: Wed Aug 12, 2020 7:00 am I've seen people have the rubbers on the sunroof eaten by birds and it's just an extra thing to go wrong or start rattling.

Re: Polo newbie - please help
If only there were any available with the right spec! Only 1 for sale with a sunroof right now and it's a bag of sh*t after driving it. Clearly been treated like a rental car for all its life. Also for what its worth, the "Car Shop" franchise is one of the worst companies I've ever had the ...

Thanks! That's a shame, I think I prefer the Parabolicas. Do you know if the Serrons are diamon cut also?Dink wrote: Mon Aug 10, 2020 2:34 pm Think you have the serrons fitted (they were the optional extra)

Re: Polo newbie - please help
In the current model Polo GTI it is possible to select individual settings within the Driver Profile Selection, which is a standard feature on the GTI and GTI+ models.
Where can I access the Driver Profile? I've got a 2017 GTI
As per my previous post, it’s a feature of the current model ...

Re: Coding and Customisation
I use Carista mainly because I’m on iPhone otherwise would use OBDeleven. Fairly sure dipping mirrors aren’t possible on polos due to lack of memory seats.
Never had any issues with Carista but it’s quite pricey for the app subscription.
Thanks mate, I think I'd just use the free month trial ...

Re: Polo newbie - please help
Great to know, cheers mate!
I'm going for nav, heated seats and a sunroof myself. I think it looks much nicer than the 135 albeit a bit less aggressive.
I agree with the fun part. My 135i is good fun, but only really when doing licences losing speeds. The sound is addictive but that just leads ...
