Further update for you all.

The car has run perfectly since this incident, my local VW dealer has my Oil Seperator on thier shelf (had to order from Germany but am awaiting them getting a job time to fit it.)

Advice sought for my 9n3 polo. Manual (non remote) keys, manual rear windows).

Issues I'm having is that sometimes(more often than not) the central locking will not lock from the drivers door, if I push the door tell take buttons down then lock the drivers door, the boot is left ...

Unplug the MAF sensor at the airbox, does the car improve? Give it a test drive. (reset the code if unsuccessful)

If you get the car running better like that replace the sensor.

As said above smoke test the inlet manifold and vacuum lines.

Does the car have a sunroof? Possibly the drains choked and the pipes are broken in the B post so water ends up on the back footwell.

Have you checked the boot floor and carpet for water logging? If so I'd suspect the rear light seals or the rear hatch /door seals ...

2007 Polo 1.4 S 5 door.

When I open the front drivers or passenger door the courtesy lights stays off, also I don't get the headlight on bong when door is open.
If I open a rear door or rear hatch the light functions as normal.

Where is the courtesy light switches located on these Polo ...

Does anyone know what the file symbols are for and also how I use the Mp3 functionality as I don't have the audio manual with the car.

Buy a remanufactured (rebuilt) caliper ready to fit, I personally do this so that I don't risk the safety of people in my car. I've only had one faulty remanufactured caliper but it was for a 2010 Fabia and was discovered to be faulty during fitting.

You'll also get a surcharge on your old unit ...

I can live without CC but it's just nice to be able to relax when I drive and not have to think about throttle positions etc.

I do have a Bluetooth to FM frequency converter that I could use as a work around for the tunes and calls etc.
