6C Manual complete gear shifter

Does the complete manual gear shifter(leather + knob) on a 6C have a part number or are all the parts sold separately? Also could one pop off the 6speed graphic and replace it with a 5 speed one? Are they glued? Could also do with a high quality knock-off tbh, I couldn't find one that also has the r...

Re: Mirror heating not working.

Well I turned the rear window heater on and the mirror heating started to work. Would've never in 1000 years guess that that was the problem  . Thanks a lot.

Mirror heating not working.

The mirror heating is not working and there are no error codes. The temperatures are sub zero, I'm not really sure what the problem may be...

Re: Car reving when I hit the brakes.

Only a couple of times. It seems to only happen after I've been driving a while( 1.5hrs+). I have no issues during day to day in city driving.

Weird throttle behaviour?

Hello, For a very long time now I've been having this issue with my car where, once the engine is warm, the throttle has a different behavior. From the graph bellow it can be seen clearly how I apply very little throttle(green color) and the engine rpm(red color) increases constantly up to 2000rpm. ...

Car reving when I hit the brakes.

Sometimes when I hit the brake the car rpm increases to around 1500 and when I release it they drop instantly to idle.

Do you have any idea what it could be?
Was thinking it might be a vacuum leak, but I'm not sure.

Thanks

Are these normal MAF readings?

I did a test where I read the values returned by the MAF sensor and these were the results. 3000RPM ~= 30g 4000RPM ~=40g It seemed to peak at 80g when flat out in first. Rest of the time flat out it seemd to return 60-70g. At idle it's around 6g to 7g. I'm curious if these are normal readings for a ...

Re: Engine response question.

You can see on the bottom right of the picture that the bolts are designed to be loosened and have the sensor adjusted by the elongated hole the screw is in.

Re: Engine response question.

Ok, I am going to revive this old thread to explain how I finally fixed the problem The problem came from the gas pedal. More specifically the gas pedal position sensor that was not calibrated correctly. I randomly stumbled upon a youtube video showing a guy calibrating his sensor and he did the fol...
