Yep the claims that he makes are true I believe

I first saw it at GTi international (2000 or 2001 cant remember which) in the main car park and at that point he already had the porsche brakes and TT engine so no doubt a lot more has happened since then.

He must of spent a fortune!

Engine Conversions..

Has anyone on the forum had an engine conversion on a Mk5 Polo?

I thinking perhaps out with the Polo GTi engine and in with a Golf 1.8T engine and a chip to get about 200 bhp.

Just wondered whether this is a nightmare conversion I image the gearbox, brakes, clutch and like must need an upgrade ...

Harry's GTi is lowered on H&R coilovers and still doesn't rub (I don't think) so definitely go for 40's.

I'm running 195/40/16 continentals and they dont rub, i've only got the standard suspension at mo tho.

I fitted one last weekend to my Polo 6N2 GTi and it's just a cosmetic mod.. although perhaps the aerodynamics are better!?
