Hi Taylor,
Sorry I am not writing with advice, but I do have exactly the same issue as you with the drivers side heated seat on my BlueGT - light goes straight off and won't come back on. Apparently is a heating element issue, please do reply here if you find a solution as I am selling the car ...

Re: Gear change
My 2016 BlueGT also has about 1.5-2cm of play from the top of the gearstick when in gear. So maybe it is normal, but I am putting it down to it getting loose over time, the car has 65k. Let me know if you find out what causes the play, as it is definitely something I'd like to look into. Probably ...

Hello all,
Been a while since this one was active, but I have a few questions as I am looking to make my own induction kit too. I would possibly buy the parts off

Re: Help! Rear wheel humming noise. Polo GTi
My BlueGT moos/hums in reverse too, mainly when the weather is wet. It had new discs and pads on rear in June 2020. I am wondering if this is something I need to worry about, or whether I can just ignore it Cheers
edit: just noticed this is on the AW forum. I wonder if it is the same issue

Re: Polo BlueGT 1.4TSI service schedule
You might find this post from the Briskoda web forum of use. Gives details from factory manual for checking cam belt on similar 1.4tsi engine.

As for oil capacity, I’ve never measured it exactly, but just under 4 litres is about ...

Re: Polo BlueGT 1.4TSI service schedule
Just to add to the link I posted earlier:
The Blue Gt uses the EA211 1.4tfsi engine, and it’s interesting to read what VAG said regarding cam belts when they introduced this engine back in 2012.
From a release on the official VW site:
“Take the example of overhead camshafts (DOHC): the ...

Polo BlueGT 1.4TSI service schedule
Hi guys, I'm sorry if there is already a topic about this but I have got myself pretty confused. My car is due its service, which is fine - I am going to change the oil and filter this week, spark plugs were done last year (the car has 56,000 miles and is a 2016). However, I can't find any info in ...

Re: Steering knock polo 6c
Sounds like a broken coil spring. Not uncommon for them to shear during the winter. Jack up car and take a proper look. If it's a tie rod then you'd have felt this driving, pulling to side, etc.
Thanks- I jacked the car up on the left hand side which is where the noise is coming from and the ...

Re: Steering knock polo 6c
This sort of issue seems to becoming a bit of a common complaint from Polo/Ibiza/Fabia of this age, ie all with electric assisted racks!
In the past with the hydraulic-electric steering assist systems on older versions of these cars, I used to just unlock the steering lock but left the ignition ...

Steering knock polo 6c
Hey all - I was wondering if any of you could point me in the right direction with this.
My 2016 Polo BlueGT has a knock in the steering, mainly noticeable when dry steering and also when I'm street parking. It's a clunk and is much louder from the outside on the front left hand side of the car ...

Re: Polo 6c BlueGT 5dr- (Leaking) Rear window seals
This happens when you have inside moisture. ( My car had this when i bought it)
Clean with a brush and dilute vinegar and scrub them. When they dry spray with silicone spray
Thanks for this - can I ask what you mean by inside moisture (in the interior carpets or)? do you mean scrub the felt ...

Polo 6c BlueGT 5dr- (Leaking) Rear window seals
Hi all- I have an issue with my 6c BlueGT and was wondering if anyone has any ideas- water seems to be getting in around the rear window seals and soaking into the felty material on the interior side of the window around the plastic door card- I bought the car in June but I think it has been ...
