It's a manual and it doesn't do it when revving it up in neutral. It doesn't always do it when flooring it either which is odd.

My 6C GTI '16 manual started making weird noises at around 3k rpm. What could this be?

It does it in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. I don't think it does it in higher gears. Or I can't hear it at those higher ...

Ok, so after more googling, I've found that the part making the noise is high pressure fuel pump. I've also found that the rattle could be coming from fuel lines rattling against the engine block.

I'll have a look in the next day or so to see if it's the case.

I drive a Polo GTI 6C and I noticed that the car sounds a bit odd. Almost a bit diesel like? The sound isn't loud and can only be heard if the bonnet is open.

I was able to identify that it's coming from a specific part, but I'm not sure ...
