I did the retrofit by my self and installed the cable and the stalk.
I read the values with VCDS and it is showing, that the buttons working correctly.

After Seat officially replied on the request of my workshop:
There is no option to retrofit cruise control at a seat ibiza 6j (1.2TSI), because there is no SWAP/FEC code, because VW does not supply one.
So I have now way to activate cruise control. It is really a pity ...

Now I know, that I need a FEC, but don't want to pay hundreds of Euros, just because VW wants to sell me the cruise control

I'm still not 100% sure, whether I need a FEC or not. My dealer told me on the phone, that he doesn't think so, but everything what I read, you are probably right.

I will go tomorrow to a dealer and let him have a look.
