Okey so maybe an intermitent fault related to bad fuel or something else.
Happen to me on time. EPC light + check engine light. I shut off engine and restart: no more issue and no codes stored after scan.
s**t happen sometimes.

Re: EMC & EPC lights illuminated
If you can, scan to see if there any fault code in the memory.
Try to drive it, it can be an intermitent fault.

Re: Rattle center dashboard
After teardown glovebox, I found some screw no longer tight correctly (thanks to VW Workshop manual) and I foudn two thing: -Center heating system has some big play in the link to modify the air flow (it's the manual AC): so maybe part of my rattle. -Cover over passenger airbag is loose. All clips a...

Check the connector and see if cables are secured inside. Maybe a false contact or bad connection.

Re: AC starts automatically
It's normal.
If you switching "OFF" your fan with AC "ON", it wil automaticaly goes back to the last config when you will switch back ON the fan.
However, if (fan running) you switching OFF AC before the fan, when you will switch them back ON, AC will still OFF.

Okey, I will see if there any minor cracks on rubber.
In this case, I will replace the belt and the tensionner also.

V-Belt life time
Hello boys ! New question today concerning our dear, and beloved Polo. The V-Belt and it's life time. We are (almost) agree on the life time of the cambelt (around 180000 km/210000 km) for EA211 engine. But for the V-Belt, nothing is indicated, even in the officials's VW workshop manual. There is no...

Re: Rattle center dashboard
Hopfully, I'm not concerned by this one, even it's a well know issue.
Last year I had to remove steeringwheel airbarg to change my steeringwheel and put a new one.
No noise coming from the airbag but one, sligthly coming from the rotating ring behinde (1 month after). Digusted
