Re: Headlight Bulb Change Questions
I'd just buy premium versions of Osram or Phillips quoting +150% etc extra output. You can buy matching side light bulbs, they will probably look blue but when switched on match the upgraded main and dipped beam bulbs. I don't think that any LED bulb assemblies are legal for main beam or dipped bea...

Headlight Bulb Change Questions
My 9n3's left sidelight has stopped working and this gives me an opportunity to upgrade my headlight bulbs. My questions is, I presume the original lights are halogen bulbs because they're yellow and grim. Can I just change the bulbs to LEDs or Xenon lights or do I have to replace the whole headligh...

Re: Live wire feed for headunit
I did this a few years ago but I cant remember 100% exactly what wire is which. The 9N3 doesn't have a switched power cable to the radio that provides constant power when the ignition/accessory is on as far as I know. You'll possibly need a canbus emulator (£10 or so) if you don't already have one....

2009 Polo headunit upgrade
Recently, i removed my RCD200 stereo because a friend of mine accidentally got some drink over it and for some reason it then shorted out and was draining my battery. I want to get a new headunit but there's some things i want to iron out before making a purchase. Firstly, i haven't plugged the RCD2...

Re: Battery keeps dying if left for more than a day
Look at this topic for fuse location https://uk-polos.net/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=71052 If you remove the fuse for a certain component ( example radio) - it will cut the power going to it. Meaning if you disable the take the fuse for radio, and radio turns off. And 24h later, your battery is still...

Battery keeps dying if left for more than a day
So, i recently bought a 1.2 2009 Polo MATCH and it was fine for about 2 months but recently if i leave the car for more than a day it completely dies. When the key goes in, nothing. The problems i saw were - the mileage and clock stay on, the central locking seems to have a problem and the radio doe...
