I've just had a call from my local dealership - parts are not expected to come in on Monday, 14 June 2021. The bolts for the weights must need master craftsmen to manufacture the amount of time they are taking, no doubt once fitted will rust in a few months

Update from VW UK parts (they are waiting on 2 bolts to attach the weights) are delayed again so will not be at my local dealership until mid to late June!

S_94 good luck - i am told the weights are available but the bolts to attach them are on backorder and not expected to arrive in the UK until next week. I am waiting to be booked in and am told it should be sometime after 18 May.

Maybe the 7sp DSG will be more smoother than the somewhat rough 6sp! I don't find my 6sp DSG very smooth especially when in slow moving traffic (moving from 1-2-3, 3-2-1). On motorway or A road driving no issues.
