I have a polo match V 6R1 1.4 (56 plate). I've had problems with opening the tailgate. I have changed and locking mechanism and the new lock does work but it is very intermittent. I think the issue is with a loose wire, I found this out by moving the wires around nothing technical :-).

Maybe this is a stupid question, is a spline bit the same as a XZN ?

I can find 8M spline bits but not XZN.
Any idea on where to buy one from.

Is it a M8 torx? Or XZN M6? or ?

I have an issue with opening my boot. Using the fob or pushing in the VW sign does nothing.
I've managed to take the back cover off and can't see any issues with the wiring.
My next guess is to replace the lock. I'm thinking it could be the motor or the actuator - it's a guess. I don't want to ...
