Re: KW V2 Coilovers, 9N / 9N3
oh - the bump stop is split on one of the rear dampers but I _think_ these are the VW ones so you'd just use your existing ones.
The VW rubber seat and top casting are on the rears already - so no need to faff about with yours.

Re: KW V2 Coilovers, 9N / 9N3
Pics below. Both adjusters spin easily, one by hand the other needs c spanner but is easy to turn. Good condition, no scratching on rods. DAMPING ADJUSTABLE via the spades at the top of the struts. Only thing missing are the black plastic locators for the top mount but KW do these as spares and they...

Nikon because I prefer the layout / menus.
However you can't go wrong so long as you go and try the two out. Personal preference. Canons are usually a bit lighter.

KW V2 Coilovers, 9N / 9N3 SOLD
I'm removing the KW coilovers from my car this week, so they'll be for sale. KW variant 2 coilovers for the 9N / 9N3 / Fabia. I replaced one of the front springs around 3 months ago. Been on the car for 3 years and apparently they hadn't done much mileage when I got them. They work fine, taking them...

Good call, I think Joe was reporting 1/2 mileage too so the speed sensor would cause this. Where do they rub through?alexperkins wrote:check the wiring to the speed sensor - they can sometimes rub through and fail

Re: 9n Coilovers...on abit of a budget
I'm taking them off because the car is being sold soon, I get some money in my pocket and the car is much easier to sell - not many people want a low car. When the coilovers are worth so much it's definitely a good thing taking them off to sell. It is a time consuming job, and paying someone makes i...

Re: 9n Coilovers...on abit of a budget
I will have some KW variant 2's for sale soon. One has a brand new spring. They're in OK condition, never tried to adjust the rebound damping though.
Worth about £800 from what I remember, I would want £200 for them, plus postage.

Offers considered. Can split cables and possibly amp if you have your own. Just sub and install would be 180.
If you're nearby I can demo it too.

Complete 9N OEM boot install - Genesis, Boston SOLD
£330 Location: Caversham, Reading RG4 I have copied and pasted my original boot build thread below. I would prefer to get rid of the lot, it's a completely custom install using some of the best quality components around. The setup allows you to still access the spare wheel, and from the driver's se...

Re: coolant leak - problem area.
some of the sensors have a circlip type plastic thing that you need to look for - not sure on the one you mention.
You prise the circlip out using a small screwdriver and then the sensor simply pulls out with a bit of force. There's a rubber circular ring that seals the sensor in.

Re: Stupid and potenially dangerous steering wheel
Mine admittedly was me trying to park just using my finger poked into the slot. i quickly learned my finger was too big to turn in the slot. Are you seriously trying to blame nearly crashing on that slot? I can understand the button story (just) but you tried to steer with a finger stuck in a tiny ...
