Well, it finally happed!

The soundaktor firmware is unlocked and you can now flash new firmware on your soundaktor from other VAG products.

If anyone with OTIS or VCD is willing to try I would love to hear the results. :D

Hi,

I have used carista with an elm327 wifi adaptor to change throttle respons behavior to direct and show a/c blow speed on auto. Works perfect.
Soundaktor changes stop working after changing to another driving profile unfortunately, but says 0% in the app.
But would buy obdeleven if I had to buy ...

To anybody that got this issue in the future.

Another trick is to place all bolts back in, loosen them from tight by one rotation then rock the car.

Actually researched this, and the module beside the soundaktor should be the containing the soundprofile.

I actually upgraded from a Up GTI to the Polo GTI.
The Up is a way more fun car to drive on public roads.

You get so much fun at low speeds that you have to try it to believe it, if you ever driven a mx5 you probably know what I'm talking about.

I could still get sweaty hands and the biggest smile ...

Best "feeling" LC mode is:
- Sport mode
- Keep holding down the ASR down till it says "Sport".

If you leave it to "off", you will get so much wheelspin on the standard "eco" tyres.
Place one foot on the brake, floor the throttle and "Launch Control Program Active" should apper in the dash.

Yeah, I don't think the soundaktor has a sound signature, it's just the "speaker".
But the module beside it, I believe that it could contain the "profile".
