Don’t suppose you have got a link to the one you bought have you? Been looking on aliexpress and there are loads of sellers would prefer to purchase one which has been used before and is proven to work

Looks a good option, have you got any photos of the reverse sensor working? Where did you get the update info that you mentioned?

We have just bought our son his first car, 2013 1.2 match edition polo and are looking to upgrade the head unit in it for him so he has apple CarPlay etc. the one fitted currently is RCD310 with DAB and reverse sensors so the replacement needs to have these as well.
