FAZ4990E is not good but not necessarily stolen, it can also mean the part has been swapped in repair process etc. Put it into trash and get brand new ones.
No one is hacking them due to their relatively cheap price.

Eh, 3q without ALG is not that horrible as you make it out to be. If you set every setting to early on H sw, you can easily maintain the car in the center of the road, given there are road markings, without the so called ping-pong effect. ALG does improve things by a lot but sadly it's not possible ...

My understanding is the laser itself comes from the back of the rear view mirror through the windscreen, but the receiver is behind the VW badge. It’s far better than it was, as it all used to be in the lower grill and that was always getting dirty.

Lane assist is on your windshield, not behind vw emblem.

In mqb, horn goes to connector via msfw buttons, on pq this is unnecessary step. Reroute horn wire to go straight into airbag connector

Traffic sign assist needs swap code and simple coding doesn't help here

Is 3QF heated? I've always had trouble with B8s in Estonian winter's that sludge builds up on the emblem and acc goes offline.
