So due to a family bereavement the time has come to sell our GTi. we've owned it for the last 8 years. It was purchased from a main dealer in Walkinshaw VW in Workington and was previously owned by one of the garage staff.

retrim looks first rate, and MJ interiors has a very satisfied customer base, however I can't help but feel you're paying for his reputation within the VW scene as much as anything.

I've seen some fantastic retrims done for less by companies who aren't known on the vw show scene and don't charge ...

nice looking car but I'll be amazed if you get anywhere near that price!

maybe I'm just old but pressed plates look s**t IMO - unless they're black and silver and attached to a british classic!

looks good - maybe it's just the photies but the door cards look like therer's a few creases or some areas have lifted?

My set of alloys are in a bad state and the outer rims badly need some restoration work doing to them!!
I live in Salisbury,Wiltshire and I am really sruggling to find anyone local that will do the work!!
Can anyone reccommend a company fairly local to me to use....either mobile or shop, and ...

just had mine done - prestige wheels in furness vale, so not local to you either unfortunately... as much as I like the polished lip or diamond cut finish I can't be arsed / don't have the time to polish them every week or two and diamond cut finish just doesn't last!! so I had mine split, stripped ...

some t**t took my wing mirror out on the way home - and promptly carried on going

so if anyone has one available id be interested!!

only need the outer casing and glass.... if not I'll price one up
