So I have a 2013 vw up here in Australia and they don't come out with a turbo here. I'm looking in to doing a motor swap from a aw polo as they are the same as the vw up gti.

I'm looking in to my options for a motor swap in my 13 vw up. The chyb in it is a little under powered for the driving I do.

As i am in Australia we didn't see the ups with turbo here. I was told by a person that did some vcds coding for me that there is a direct fit polo motor and gearbox ...

Coded to the ecu and then it worked once in the carpark. Couldn't get it to work again but I just think it was cause I couldn't get the speed up. Got to a motorway and it worked fine.

Now I can get all of my interior put back together.

I have just managed to get the pin 29 sorted. I did break part of the blank off. so for all that don't know you need to pull the bottom of the connector down and the purple lock in through the side, seems like the bottom coming down exposes the purple lock.

The kufatech manual says that the coding is only at addres 17 and 9 which we did. So do I still need to code the ecu which they don't list in the manual. That will explain why they keep just saying I need to purchase there coding dongle to get it ...
