I've just discovered this 5 minutes ago. What a pudding. Thanks iichel. That's exactly what is was.

VWPolo 2010, 1.4l, 5 door.
Hoping some one can help with this one. I've had the car about 6 weeks now and last night I got in the car and the service menu was showing on the dash board. It shows a little clock-372 with a little spanner.

When I removed the door panel, I was expecting to see an access panel that needed unbolting but, nothing. It looks to be just one piece of metal with no access.
I will have to remove again and take pictures and poat up(should of taken on first removal) thanks.

The handle when pulled feels the same as the others. It has resistance when pulled, it just doesn't unlock the door from the outside.
I've been reading on forums that the cause might be to do with the auto-lock system. I pressed the auto lock button as normal the others day, then after unlocking it ...
