looks lke someone stole them, couldn't get the whole part out so knicked the logo's

6c or 6R ? just to add some confusion.....
my late (august)17 plate GT 150 act has 6R on the chassis plate on the passenger door pillar.

Hi all

What do you use to protect your wheels from brake dust and the salt thats on the road in winter ?
I have used, and are currently using collinite 476 on the wheels of my GT and have used it before on a 1.2 TSI with good results.

hmmm not many then. maybe ask a local vw specialist as they are mostly vw master techs set up on their own.
they may give an idea without a mainstealer charging you for a diagnosis !!

same as above, never had that happen. sounds like the sytem is developing a fault...howw many miles?

sounds like he has it sussed, check the master as well while its out and maybe if your keeping the car the thrust bearing may save
on a future bell housing removal. good luck.
