Do you think you could drop the front of the under tray enough to get access to the oil filter and sump bolt. Or does the whole tray got come off?


I had that same thought, but sadly it can't be done.

Interestingly, I found a video of an oil filter change on my car on YouTube, and those 2 back ...

You’re best way forward in my opinion would be to use the 10mm type nuts commonly used on VAG cars to fix the underbody protection panels
These use a course threaded stud which from your picture looks like you already have

Thanks for the reply, but it's definitely not these - I'm very familiar with these types of panel clips (screw and push type) and it wasn't these.
