So my gti has the 18-inch wheels, and a size of 215x40x18 I think. I have tried a search for gti tyres on here but had 800 pages to look through, so thought I would ask the question. By selecting Sport mode for the Exhaust does that improve the efficiency of the engine and therefore improve fuel economy. All other settings left as standard. :)

This reverses the setting upon start-up (so starts with s/s off and pressing the button turns it on). You will need to get below the trim to add the cables in.

I feel a bit embarrassed but I have now cracked it, it seems it helps if turn the Data on on your iPhone

And one final question, fuel consumption isn’t fantastic what is the norm for a polo gti for around town etc I’m getting around 230 - 240 max per tank.

I am surprised you say that, on my 2020 Gti I think it is good, on a run and driving sensibly I can easily get 50 + to the gallon ...

I have a 2020 Polo 2.0 GTi and on a run I can easily get 50mpg, last run was 50.7mpg. Around town sort of 30ish +. It doesn't answer the OP's question but it hopefully will give you some kind of comparison

I have Garmin in my Mercedes and I not all that impressed with it. It leads me up roads that are barely wide enough for the car whatever profile you pick, whether it be fastest route, main road or whatever

In case it is of interest to anybody. Having taken delivery of new 2022 face-lift GTi and when compared to the AW model before. The engine version has changed from an EA888 Gen3B to the new EA888 Gen/Evo4 engine with the 6-speed DSG box being changed to the DQ381 7-speed wet clutch DSG box.

@LEEA123 - As@The Cardinal has said, move the selector lever to the left and you’ll be in manual mode and it’ll stay that way until you move the lever back to the right. You can then use either the paddles on the steering wheel to change gear or the selector lever.

Still having problems with Apple Car paly in as much that I can get Google Maps/Waze ETC up on the screen but can't do anything further than that. I get a message saying it can't find the server ? Any ideas ??
