you could always put the sub in the spare wheel well and hope you dont get a puncture (beware sods law) or you could get high power shelf speakers and mount an amp under the parcel shelf (with an extra supporting bit of wood) or tight in the boot. i dont really trust stuff like that bit of a gimmick...
