Fixed!!!

Fitted new sensor and Stop/Start now all working

Purchased a genuine part for this and well worth the £70.

Hi, just to confirm I have now removed all the codes and then restarted the engine and the Stop/Start error returns immediately.

Nothing else has been changed.

Waiting on the sensor now and will update when it arrives.

Tried that now but unfortunately the same outcome. What is odd is that the car had the same issues three weeks ago and I found that battery was well down on charge and had that replaced with a correct specification Stop/Start battery. After that Stop/Start worked fine for ten days until now its ...

Have safely removed the clip from the sensor and sprayed the contact cleaner, then refitted but unfortunately that hasn't fixed it.

What are the best steps to safely remove the actual sensor?

I will add some better photos tomorrow when its light, but in the meantime.

So if I remove that the sensor is what that then plugs into?

Thank you very much that is so helpful. Do you think this is something a novice could do, seems like a few things in the way that would need removing to get access to the sensor?

Having investigated other post further seems like I need to replace the brake boost pressure sensor.

Does anyone have a photo of where this and advice on how to remove?

Having a problem with 1.0 TSI Polo and failing Stop Start system. Diagnostic report notes c10a301 (Vaccum Sensor), however struggling to understand what this and what I need to to fix. Any suggestions?

I suspect its around the brake booster pressure, but not 100%...!!
