WTD: mk2 breadvan engine!

As title, my girlfriend's 1 litre mk2 breadvan is giving up the ghost so would like a replacement engine for it asap! 1.3 (3F) engine preferable if anyone has one as i believe they are a straight replacement. If not, what else have you got that would be a pretty straightforward swap!? 1.3 golf ...

Might be a longshot, but as title; need a carb for a mk2 polo 1ltr petrol breadvan ("A" reg). Please someone have one knocking around in their shed?! :D

BBS RXii Alloys

For sale 4 x BBS RXii Alloy wheels. Come with three good tyres which have done approx 2000 miles (i believe BF goodrich) - i had to use one tyre as i got a flat on the polo.

black gti blackwood wales

Saw a black gti in blackwood, wales thursday 3rd april about 4:30ish. Went off a roundabout on the high street and shot up the hill. Had a nice low stance on shiny silver rims i think and red striping on the grill. Was nice to see as all the other cars in blackwood seemed to be chavvy corsas!

I think that older VWs are a lot more reliable than the newer ones. One of the main reasons i bought the polo was to have a more reliable car (over my old mk2 golf), but i have spent a lot lot more on the polo, and i've owned it for less time than i had my golf.

Thanks for the sympathy mate, i can sympathise with you too because i've had to replace my gearbox bearings about 6 months ago. I got a sachs cutch and lightened flywheel at the same time to try to soften the pain! It was very smooth and nice afterwards though so well worth doing the clutch.
