I'm planning to upgrade my footrest with a brushed aluminum cover which I made through a supplier,
but don't how to remove this unfamiliar screw or pin?

I'm not looking for a heated mirror, it is quite redundant for me!
I just wanted to work on these mirrors and make it work.

I am looking to retrofit an electronic door wing mirror both driver side and passenger side, currently running on a joystick manual side mirror.
