Re: Polo GTI+ Overrun?
Interesting if the factory map does this! It does sound cool.

Just read the OP again. 2.2k seems absolutely insane.

Re: Please help! 2020 Match TSI - Turbo failure at 35,000 miles
The above just scrambles my brain with mumbo-jumbo nonsense. In a situation such as the OP finds themselves in, I think it’s important to know - and have an understanding - of what your consumer rights are and how to proceed with the objective of getting a successful outcome. Particularly important...

Re: Please help! 2020 Match TSI - Turbo failure at 35,000 miles
Hi Maisierobs, In light of the information that the turbo actuator rod appears significantly older than the car and the suggestion that it may have been previously repaired, here are some factual points you can present to the dealer; Condition of the Rod - The apparent age and condition of the turb...

Sorry if I've missed it - what are the fault codes?
I presume you're having turbo / boost issues?

Re: erractic fuel consumption
As said, wind makes a massive difference. Strong storm / heavy rain Polo GTI+ did 37MPG at 60 ish MPH.
Normally It'd be 42 or so.
The weather is bigger than any of us.

Re: Polo GTI+ Overrun?
Isn't it just faked somehow?
I doubt any modern engine is going to inject unburnt fuel into the exhaust to be burnt later for fun.
You will own nothing and be happy etc...

Re: Polo GTI confused gearbox
Wow, you have a GTI and don't accelerate hard :D No, the usual routes I drive are so congested and the roads are single carriageway, so most of the time it’s only possible to go with the flow of the traffic. IMHO there are limited opportunities to use a GTI to its full potential, so I won’t be repl...

Re: Polo GTI confused gearbox
Auto gearboxes in my experience are often in the 'wrong' gear. DSG is really cool but doesn't know what's about to happen so the same thing happens. We have the same car as you and I'm not sure it would be in 2nd at 40MPH in any situation except accelerating hard- I'll test it if you want! Pauses an...

Re: Auto door lock - disable?
Thanks!
My Mum is very happy not to have her car 'locking her in' anymore.
(Tried explaining that it doesn't do that but hey!)

Re: Auto door lock - disable?
20240412_125138.jpg Found the solution! Changed ENG141654-ENG149214-ZV Autolock-Menuesteuerung ZV Autolock-Unlock I can't remember what the option was called, something like optional or similar. It's obvious anyway. That puts the item in the menu, where it should have been in the first place, IMO. ...

Re: Auto door lock - disable?
I've been trying to do this on a 2020 GTI+ using the above with VCDS.
The setting takes but the car just seems to ignore it and the doors still lock when you hit ~10MPH.
I changed the ENG141654-ENG149210-ZV Autolock-Automatisches_Verriegeln_bei_Geschwindigkeit to not active
Can anyone shed some light?
