Ironically, although the TCU doesn't respond to the Tiptronic signals, it will still log a Tiptronic fault if the Tiptronic connector isn't plugged in properly.

After configuring the A5 camera on the 090 E BCM—including the long coding, adaptations, and calibration—and verifying that everything worked correctly during real-world driving, I downgraded the BCM back to 090 C.
