I didnt realise it had the rls in place, I didnt notice that behind the mirror, he has fitted an aftermarket auto light headlight switch with sensor, I prefer oem but its economics for him I guess.
Just a bit of feedback quickly, no dash lights still, rear aftermarkets lights appear to be working still as required, still of course shows a fault log in the bcm for the relevant lights but thats fine as fog works & no dash warnings.
I need to raise a Ross-tech thread about this active/inactive ...
Well sorted heated seat drivers leds, swapped pins on the 774 module & voila both sides as factory.
Rear fog works now, however, the wiring was already correct from E1 to BCM then BCM to rear fog, strangely when I went to test the fog was lit up as it should have been, very ...
Well, the 6C is PQ26 platform, an experimental spawn with PQ25 6R structure, we could say that they are similar in appearance with different electronics. The PQ26 and PQ27 are the prelude to the MQB-0.
Fortunately, VW continued to evolve the PQ25 with the T6, Amarok, etc. and the 6R family in ...
Yeah just checked & I do actually have all these diagrams duhhhh, thanks.
Yeah they chnaged the heated seats button wiring so drivers & passengers matches except the button pins 1 & 2 are reversed on the heated seat module j774 for drivers button, I wondered why it was reversed leds lighting up as ...
Afaik the 6C is just a facelift, probably updated bus systems etc but I need to check the heated seat buttons as although I solved the issue, I just want to clarify somethings, the buttons appear to now be wired identically whereas the previous 6R were pinned differently between L & R, as I ...
Do you happen to have a complete wuring diagram for the 6C at all please, as strangely my elsa downloads is missing the basic wiring pdf amongst the thousands Ive got lol, if not then no worries.
i'll use the existing fog light wire from the switch & extend to the bcm, no need to run a new one, this way I can test the theory temp & then properly solder, heatshrink etc.
Yeah I saw the wire in the cluster in elsa, so thats easy enough.
Aquavalver, you need to do the following to get your rear fog light working with the BCM 7E0:
1 - Run a 0.5mm2 new wire from the T17/9 light switch connector to the T73b/43 BCM white connector. You need to remove and properly insulate the original T17/9 wire. A wire length of 120 cm should be ...
Thanks for the input, I'm the retrofitter working on this car few times before & this issue,, so I'll check over the coding & wiring changes mentioned, I'll compare both modules wiring in Erwin, Elsa & vcds coding.should be able to resolve it, I'll report back when sorted.
