It does just pull off but it definitely feels like you are about to wrench the whole dashboard off just before it comes away in your hand

Just as a follow up for anyone that searches this in the future.
It does just pull off but it definitely feels like you are about to wrench the whole dashboard off just before it comes away in your hand
