Still missing my polo, im driving a wee corsa b just now 1.2 16v my dad bought me it for crimbo, i know its pants but its gets me from a to b, i got it looknig as shiney as my polo used to be spent about 5 hours detailing to the max

I have 4 tsw alloys on my polo the gearbox is about to go so im selling the wheels

They are catalunya
Tyres 195/45/15 4x100
Front tyres only done 200 miles got reciept from kwik fit where they were fitted 3 weeks ago for £100
Rear tyres done about 1000 miles

Hey its been about 6 months since ive been on here,

my Gti was written off in december ,a few of you might remember from the pics due to a burst tyre causing me to smash the central res on the edinburgh city bypass

Last month a contacted the salvage company to try and locate it . they informed me ...

Thats some mess, They wrote mine off for a bump to the quarter panel. I dint know where my car ever ended up in the end.

I still havent got a replacement yet

Well thats the gti gone, gave up in the end its just been causing to much stress over the last few weeks,

the insurance tell me its going to go to philips in galasheilds in the borders.

so if anyone wants any mint bits off a gti get in touch with them in over a week.

They have agreed to pay off ...

If you do manage to get it back then PM me and i will give you the number for the guy that fixed mine. Hes from leven though, Im sure that if you do get it fixed yourself it wont even cost you half of what the insurance quoted.

Your just gonna have to spend a day sourcing all the parts you need ...

what type car are you looking for at the minute? A proper replacement or soemthing to run around for now?

been arguing with the insurance all day for them not to write it off they said they will probably give me the money to fix it myself. it makes sense after the gearbox and all the usal stuff being done


i also got a copy of the estimate,below is just the prices but ...

why dont you ask to buy it back and break it or get the repairs done yourself? you should give you a price if you ask.

They wont let me buy it back already asked them, im going to see it this morning to get the rest of my things out of it and my tax disk and give them there 207 courtesy car back ...
