Odd one with my Polo this morning.

Tried to start my polo this morning and its turning over slowly then giving up. Sounds like a typical flat battery which isn't the end of the world but just seems odd. Its given no warning it was about to go. It starts first time everytime and hasn't been deteriating or anything. Before I change the ...

You could cheat and buy a mk5  I think the light change is worth doing but the tailgate will look odd. Can only imagine it to turn out looking like a cut and shut of a mk4 & mk5!

I have on my old Pug 106. I looked at the spring while my bro turned the steering from lock to lock. 2 coils were rubbing over each other and going clang clang which sounds very similar to what you describe. We stripped the struts out again and realised that the bearing at the top wasn't the right ...

Ah kwik fit. Avoid like the plague. I've used them twice out of desperation. They can always do the job straight away which should say something about them. Good garages will be fully booked for at least a week. They too wrecked my car on their ramps. Bent the new exhaust which they had just fitted ...

My ST200 puts a smile on my face every time. 205bhp v6 mmmmmmmm. Sounds heavenly. Now for sale sadly but hey if I need a grin I'll borrow my fiances Fabia vRS. Easily as addictive but cheap diesel too. My ST blows £55 worth of shell v-power in 300 miles!!! Fun but pricey hence she's on her way ...

I have 1.9DL which is naturally aspirated and I can officially confirm it wouldn't be capable of pulling the skin off a custard! But hey I get 475 miles out of a tank! Now who's laughin

Checked it already fella. That was the first thing I did. No water escaping under the car either so somewhere along the interior is looking favourite.

Need a couple of parts can anyone breaking help???

Got a couple of things that are irritating me on my polo. I haven't had time to go to the scrappy of late so was wondering if any of you guys that are breaking may have the following.

O/S Headlamp cap that seals the unit. Maybe someones had a front ender so can't sell the headlamps but the cap ...

Its alright fella I won't hold you responsible. I think it'll be a pipe connection thats come apart as you said. If not I'll keep hunting. Will try and take some piccy's as I go along so anyone else suffering the same problem can try and check theirs.

Well I'm going to strip the rear seats and quarter card out for a further inspection. Have thought about de wipering it but still not keen as I use it a lot on the motorway where I spend 2k per month! Plus if I de-wiper it I'm too much of a perfectionist. I'd have to remove the pipework and modify ...

Had the same with mine. Turned out a stone had damaged my radiator and was still stuck in the hole and was letting the water out. Only noticed where it was going when my other half borrowed the Polo for work. Followed her in my ST until we went our seperate ways and noticed a fairly constant drip ...

Cheers Biddle. How do the quarter cards come out? Looked in the haynes but it doesn't say! Had a quick look behind by removing the seal round the door shut and popped the upper trim clip and peered in sort of thing.
