Don't paint it matey, you'll probs end up having to paint it again sometime cos of all the stone chips!

All i did was go to halfrauds and buy some "go-faster stripes" (bout the same price as a can of spray paint) and then just wrapped it around, using a hairdryer for the tricky corner bits!

It ...

Drivers side mirror

Hey,

Does anyone know how to get the smaller mirror on the drivers side?

I'm presuming that i would have to buy the passenger side mirror from a LHD polo?

Has anyone done this mod? and if so, what did you do?

Cheers

Does the GTI have traction control?? Just wonderin because a couple of times if i have had to pull away from a junction quickly, all the power seems to dissapear, even with my foot hard down!

It seems like a traction control thing, but i'm not sure

mine does the same mate, to me it sounds like the starter motor solenoid is sticking, and the small starting sprocket (the bit that cranks the flywheel) is staying out too long.

Re: U know a good tuning co in Newcastle or Farnborough area

Getting some oil through the breather pipe (back pressure???).

Areet mate, if you're getting oil back into your breather, then it is likely that the crankcase breather (round metal part that presses into the block) is probably blocked.

You might find that it could fail the MOT on emissions.

As ...

BMC CDA induction kit??

Areet, this may seem like a daft question but are these kits universal??

It's just that someone was sellin one on ebay and there was no spec as to which car it was for.

I asked the seller what car it was for but he hasen't replied and the kit has now been sold.

Any reply would be grateful, cheers ...
