9N3 2007 - Central locking issue after fixing a door lock
Hi Guys So I have a 2007 9N3 1.4 , with normal central locking (non remote). The issue was that both rear doors were playing up, i.e. not opening from outside sometimes but you could from inside etc. The passenger rear door now as deadlocked and is showing "SAFE" in VCDS. The drivers side ...

Re: Bonnet release handle (on door pillar)

The problem is I cant seem to open the the bonnet now, even if I try to wedge a screwdriver i...

First point of call would be to get VAG-COM onto it as this will highlight any fault codes...

Re: 9n 1.2s 2002 climatic no heat at all!
****UPDATE***** Been a bit busy over xmas period but I managed to solve this issue, it was Fuse No. 4 (5 amp) which in fact is shown as an engine Mgmt fuse on the fusecard. This has solved the heating panel to come back plus on the AC button works, and also the OBD2 port, strange they are all connec...

Re: 9n 1.2s 2002 climatic no heat at all!
Yeah its been removed but nothing was adapted so just connected to the ISO blocks. I have tried with another 9N and it's fine so I know the cable works - since the lights for the climatic controls went out and the fact I can't even press the AC button and the AC pump doesn't come on, suggests someth...

Re: 9n 1.2s 2002 climatic no heat at all!
Update
Removed stereo and still vag-com will not connect it's like there is a short somewhere I checked all fuses etc
The only thing I can think off now is that the climatic has blown internally hence causing a short somewhere? Is this unit simple to remove? Any diy links pls...
Thanks

Re: 9n 1.2s 2002 climatic no heat at all!
Yes been trying to get vag-com to work also but that's not connecting - seems like I have a seperate issue with obd2 port as my kit works on all other vag cars, been told it could be the aftermarket stereo causing and issue with k-line so will try that tonight and report back.
Thanks
Thanks

Polo 9n1 1.4 TDi Coolant temperature sender
Hi Was looking for a DIY on this and could not find it on the 1.4 Tdi 9n1? - I seem to have located it on the right hand side of the engine facing in from the back somewhere, seems really difficult to get too. I will need to remove pipes around MAF airbox area... I think I could just pull the horses...

Re: Always Hot !!! :(
Was there any luck in getting all the pics for the fix to the Center Flap motor too.
I have the exact same issue with a 1.2s 2002 ....
I have VAG-COM and am fairly able to remove parts here and there so could attempt both myself, but I am unsure to the central one (v154)?
Thanks

Re: Polo 1.2S 9n replacing coolant
thanks so a rough step by step is... 1. run car until moderately warm 2. Remove lower hose (open expansion tank cap) 3. Let old coolant spill out 4. Top up with new Coolant/water mix 5. check for any air locks by squeezing on pipes prior to connecting back to Rad. 6. Use bleed valve to remove any ai...
