my clutch cable has just broken!!! now getting a new one from vw dealer is my last resort, as they tend to over price. i have rung around some local but good car part companys including halfords, and know one stocks or knows what clutch cable the polo gti takes, can anyone tell me a part number or ...

As when it gets serviced they will supply there own new plugs, which no doubt will be run of the mill plugs! many thanks lads

thanks for the replies lads, so if we are saying that its not self-adjusting, do you think all it needs is the bolt losening then adjusting the cable. instead of replacing it? thanks
