lol i dont, my micra moves in all gears lol. Engine mounts are crap the whole thing tilts quite a lot :s

It was fine when idling, I didn't want to risk it really. I'll wait until end of the summer when i have more money behind me. It will be even better then. As they say "good things come to those who wait" :D

edit: what it noticed was that the gear leaver moved in 4th of this one also, but only 4th ...

right ive been to see it. its a very genuine car at a decent price. But i could hear a clicking noise comming from the front end, i'm slightly consirned this is the diff so im gonna pass it up. If i buy it now ill have no cash if something goes wrong, but at the end of the summer ill have £1500 ...

what do you expect, it is a turbo after all. Id like to see how the GT would fair upto a nicely tuned 6n3 GTi though

Not a big fan of them. Mainly because of a lot of the drivers i meet on the roads. They have a lot of top end speed though. One of my friends reports that one overtook him in his S/C'd + turbo micra. Off the limiter in 5th and it went past .

hehe cool, guess im learning. I think i know what to look out for..

Noisey cam chain tensioner at the top on the engine.

Stuff clutch/gears.

Check if its been in for its pedal box recalled.

...and if the gear leaver is moving, the linkages could need realaigned?

very nice car's there! Not a big fan of the coopers myself, its a lot of money for a little car, but they do go fairly well! I heard the gear ratio's are silly long on them, like 70mph in 2nd? Looks like a nice car though:)

ive been used to micra's so long its unreal what its like changing to a different car, im so sceptical :S. I'll just take a chance and go for a GTI :)

Although before the micra is knocked, i had a black 1.3 on M reg that i hammered for 25k and only changed a set of pads in 8 month, sold it with ...
