How do you fancy this-

I'll come to Barnsley one day, whenever suits you and you can fit my timing belt and I'll machine polish & wax your car for you?

Let me know if you're interested, mate :D

Jabbasport are near Peterborough.
Their website is: http://www.jabbasport.com/

JBS Autodesigns is in Chesterfield.
Their website is: http://www.jbsautodesigns.co.uk/

I think you'll be looking at only a 10bhp increase on a GTi

Diesels are definitely the way forward

Had my 1.4 TDi remapped at Jabbasport today

I had my ECU remapped & car rolling roaded at Jabbasport, near Peterborough, today at a cost of £425 and here are the results: BHP before: 72.7 bhp @ 2571 rpm. BHP after: 107.1 bhp @ 3320 rpm. Torque before: 207 Nm @ 2406 rpm. Torque after: 264 Nm @ 2657 rpm. What a difference it's made. I real...

How hard is fitting a 6n2 TDi timing belt?

Has anyone changed their timing belt on a 6n2 1.4 TDi?
If you have, what does it involve and is it easy?

I've changed belts on a couple of Peugeot 106's before now.

There's nothing in the Haynes manual regarding the diesels

I dont think Im to concerned about DVD playback, just having the ability to playback MP3's cd/r is good enough for now. The CDA 9857 has a pretty decent spec but doesnt have the Alpine Media Xpander (MX) - is this really something that would make a difference? do any of you use the MX capability on...

I'd go with the 3rd one too as I've had a 9853 and the glide bar is bloody horrible to use :x I hated it so much that I sold the 9853 and bought an older 9815 :D All the Alpine's I've ever had have sounded fantastic. I'd rather have an Alpine than anything from another manufacturer, even if they do ...

If you want to go down around 50mm, I'd definitely recommend the Eibach Sportline springs.
I'll be looking at buying Eibach or H & R for the Polo :D
I've had Eibach before on a CRX VT and they were brilliant :D

Your car looks stunning, mate.

Don't think I can afford coilovers.
I had them on my last car, a Civic VTi, but I can't afford them for my Polo just yet as I'm on a money saving exercise :(

If your Polo is lowered 60mm, I think I'll go for 40-50mm as I have to use it on bumpy roads everyday.

How much do I lower a 6n2 1.4 TDi?

Please can anyone with a lowered 6n2 1.4 TDi please post a picture so I can decide how much to lower mine.

I've seen lowering springs that lower 30mm, 40mm, 50mm or 60mm.
But I don't know which would look best until I see some pictures.

Thanks in advance.
