Thanks for the elephant tip - that's come out cheaper than my other quotes with less excess! Finally bought my Polo now - but have got to wait til next weekend to pick it up cos they're still using it - its gonna be a looong week!!

I'm looking to buy a Polo GTi shortly and have been shopping around for insurance quotes.
Has any1 got any tips for the best company to go with and the cheapest quotes they've had?

Cheapest i've got so far is £800 fully comp, with £500 excess from RAC. I'm 22, with no NCB - hence the expensive ...
