The dangers of tinting?

I'm thinking of tinting my windows but first I'd like to know afew things, also note that Im not willing to pay someone £130 to do it just to pay £120 for labor...

The radiator strips at the back, do I put the film over that? if so will it be damaged or have a high risk of being damaged if I ever ...

Thanks, should look into getting a re-trim. What colour of primer should I use on my gray dash that I want to turn black?

Painting Dash and Dyeing Seats?

Hi, I dont like the gray look of my polo.. So I'm planning on painting the dash black and also looking into so way to dye the colour of my seats to black as I dont want to buy new one.

Has anyone had anyexperiance with this?
What Primer/Paint would you reccomend for the dash so that it wont just ...

Pardon my ignorance but when people say 'smooth' the strips what they mean? They already look pretty smooth to me?
