Thanks Adam, I'll try that - but where do I find the engine code?

My 2002 very basic 1.2 litre Polo E has been totally trouble free so far, but the day must come sooner or later when something goes wrong. When it happens, how do I get the engine cover off?

Excluding the brake fluid change, but including £44.15 for MOT, I was charged £284.89 including vat. Another local VW garage wanted to charge £50 more than this.

According to the Service Schedule my 2002 PoloE should have had this changed as part of its 4 year service. It hasn't been. What is a Haldex coupling? Does my car actually have one?

Just had my 2002 5door PoloE put through 4 year service. Local VW garages wanted to charge me additional £50 to change brake fluid. I've always done this myself on previous cars, and looking at the Polo I can't see any problems. Does any know of any?

I have a Polo E Hatchback registered July 2002. Is there a Haynes (or other) manual available for this model? I believe that there was a model change in January 2002. Was the E the new model brought out then or the previous one?
