Jeff - dont pay someone to do it!! It'll take you 5 mins and you are more than able to do it yourself. I tried to explain how to do this on a previous thread - http://www.tigerstyle.co.uk/poloforum/viewtopic.php?t=35101&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=&sid=299038247e89...

The feedback is good which is why i thought i'd give it a go. When i looked closer at the feedback there are quite a few non delivered bad feedback remarks. Maybe i was unlucky. Just be careful if you are gonna go for it, i ordered the kit on 3rd feb and have tried numerous times with seller to sort...

I would always disconnect the battery when working on the electrics, especially when airbags are concerned. Its not worth the risk Jeff. Trust us no warning lights come on. Edition 30 wheel is great - i love mine and it matches our leather interior spot on

Sorry for late reply. I dont have a clue what spline drive I used - I just kept trying until one fitted  If anyone has Elsa that should say whats needed? Think the airbag warning light will only come on if you reconnect the power before re fitting the airbag and I believe the radio wont lock o...

Yeah I got the Z brackets. When I offered it all up there was a gap that seemsed too large to not need something between them. Looks like I'll be re fitting them direct to the sills. Thanks for the diagram Andy, is that from Elsa? Think I need to be getting me a copy.

...Roadrunner... could you look under your side skirts and tell me how they are secured to the sill please. I got these skirts on my car, they are secured on the ends - one side two bolts and other slots in. When I got them and fitted them they have two feet about two foot away from both ends that I...

Calipers and carriers are separate items. If you wanted to use Anniversary stuff this is what you need and a set of braided hoses (From VAG Parts website. https://sslrelay.com/s74326199.oneandoneshop.co.uk/sess/utn;jsessionid=15470537016a314/shopdata/0015_VW/0030_Golf+MK4/0060_Brakes+and+running+gea...

I run 215 40 r17 Eagle F1 GS-D3's ride is ok, only harsh when going over particularly bad roads. I am still running standard suspension though. Wear aint too bad either, but not great. I think I'll be on my own here but I'm not really that impressed with them as a tyre. Dont get me wrong they are be...

They are 17" they do look bigger though. Cant go back to 16's cause of the brakes I run. I got the same coilovers as you Jeff sitting in my garage waiting to be fitted, but I keep deciding not to fit them. Where I live every other road has speed bumps on them - the split type - you got any roun...

I'v done all the mods on my car myself (except paint) and really enjoy getting my hands dirty. Have to be honest though I bought the anniversary bits because of the fact they are factory finished in red and the money difference I save by doing it myself I can sort of justify it in my head :D Didnt w...
