i had this exact same problem on mine. I unplugged my egr valve and was fine. Had the engine light on but that never bothered me and the car ran alot smoother and quicker

all the same chassis mate and the number of doors doesnt make no difference

9times out of 10 Vw's parts are the same and available from gsf unless it is a pattern part most Bosch stuff etc from gsf is what Vw use anyway. Vw just like to rape you

faulty oil pressure switch, few quid from gsf, its located at the bottom of the top of the engine its a green plug with a big nut to undo it

i have the switches and nearly all of the loom and i have 1 relay as one got broke taking the vr6 leathers out. Can be forsale if needs be?
