i had deep dish wheels on my mini and it looked pretty nice. ive not come across that many deep dish rims apart from them nasty wolfrace octanes.

they're getting quite popular, but i like the chunk factor of 'em. shame they dont do them in anthracite

seriously though, the shiny lights do look ever so slightly camp, but do you agree that the black/carbon lights look alright?

i emailed ray yesterday for info. im looking at about £840 for the independent front and rear bags with £500 fitting.

and id have to get to the other end of the country to get it done :roll: !
hopefully i can find someone up here to do it.

they are indeed the coolest thing to happen to ...

if i had the money id go for bags too.

isnt it around £1700 for the cheapest system?

it would certainly solve the problem of me getting on to my driveway without scraping the front.

:shock: thats cheap! how big a drop could you get? about 80mm?

another thing, ive got a very limited knowledge of coilovers and was wondering how long and how difficult is it to adjust the ride height?

im not that bothered about the quality. if they last be a few years, id be happy.

£400 is still alot of dosh just to lower a car. a set of koni adjustables would still only get me about 35mm lower and cost more than that

ive been looking at all the options to slam my mk4 and have decided that coilovers are my only choice.

i want to go low , both in ride height and price.

i saw an ad for FK and was put off by the £600+ pricetag, but noticed that they offer 'budget' sets for £400.

are they this cheap because they ...

mines like that too. its not lowered yet though.

i once parked next to an IDENTICAL polo and it had the exact same cracks.
