Can't believe the insurance group of a 16v, i know they have the extra bhp but 1.4 engine in group 10 is stupid, plus ... means i can't afford one!!

Any got the stats for a VW POLO 1.9 D CL 3d? & does anyonehave one/would reccomend one? I'm wanting a car with a little more power and its only one insurance group up from my 1.4 CL Polo, so thinking about getting one! hey! I'm thinking about getting my boot smoothed, and so removing the bagde, number plate holder & handle and i just wondered would something like the following be all i need to still gain acess into my boot?

dunno if this helps towards your problem but when i thought i had a faulty thermostat then it turned out to be something like the piston surrounding. the thermostat would start around half way but, then went down a little then constantly went up, especialy when the engine was under strain/getting ...
