it could be anyting first of all tray to change the lambda sensor and the temp sensor they are the main things you have to check if the cars runnin rich.

sorry guys but the problem was sorted long time ago but i jst forgot to put it on on the fourm.

whai i did was replaced the lambda sensor which solved the problem and it improved the mpg aswell.

my mpg is not good im only getting just under 30 mpg!

hi mate did you get the problem sorted? i have the same problem on my polo at the moment no sigional from the lampda sensor!

im have noticed recently im getting a petrol smell comin out the exhaust it smells like the burnt smell you get from the catalyst usesally i onli get it wen im flooring it but now im getting alll the time i can smell it as soon as i open the window its 100% cummin from the exhuast. any reason y ...

hi guys im haveing a problem with my clucth for some reason its slipping but the thing is i have had the clutch changed 5k-6k miles ago last october! Would the clutch wear out this quicky?? i dont want to pay over £200 again for another clucth!

hi im having a problem with my polo 1.4cl 1997 AEX engine

it just wont go into to 1st gear when on hills and 3rd gear this only happens 40% of the time any reason y ??

also when im on 1st,3rd and 4th gear and driving the gear leaver moves a little up and down like wen i put accelerate the gear ...

hi has any 1 got this remore central locking upgrade fitting on their mk4 polo?
I just want to know if its easy to fit and how to fit them
and how many wires are there and where they go on a mk4 polo with e/w and c/l

i havent solved it!!! it came back 2day what i think it is the gearbox mounth is broken cus wen im on 3rd gear i can feel the gear stick move up and down when accelerating a deccelerating.

PROBLEM SLOVED!!!! SOME HOW!!!! ALL RUNNIN NICE AND SMOOTH!

yh these are the proper uk led rear lights i found it on ebay and i was very luck to get hold of these cus they are so rare and cost bucks to find. there is a guy whos selling the one with the fogs on the other side for £60-£70 on ebay

go for the mesh type i have the FK they cost me £40 and they look plain and unique i might stick the sline badge stuck on it aswell.
